Emily discovered her passion for events while working with several event companies throughout and after college. In 2011, she took that passion and founded Emily Kate Events, quickly building a reputation for creating thoughtfully planned, beautifully executed events.

Over the years, Emily Kate Events has grown from its roots in homebuilding and corporate events to a full-service event planning company specializing in corporate events, social celebrations, milestone occasions, and custom experiences.

With more than 15 years of experience in the event industry, Emily brings creativity, organization, and meticulous attention to detail to every event. She genuinely loves the entire planning process—from the first idea to the final detail—and takes pride in building strong relationships with her clients, vendors, and event partners.

For Emily, no detail is too small. Her goal is to make the planning experience seamless and enjoyable while bringing each client’s vision to life in a way that feels intentional, memorable, and uniquely their own.
